2.0              SUMMARY OF TOXIC SUBSTANCE REDUCTION PLAN

2.1             Reason Why Toxic Substance Is Used or Created

Zinc is used for die casting at J & K Die Casting because it can be casted to closer tolerances and lasts longer than other metals that are used in similar applications.  These factors are both important for our clients.

2.2             Owner’s Statement

As there is no proper substitute available so far, I, Warren Kawaguchi, do not intend to reduce the use of zinc and its compounds at J & K Die Casting Limited.  I certify that I have read the Toxic Substance Reduction Plan for zinc and its compounds and that this summary accurately reflects the current version of the Toxic Substance Reduction Plan.

2.3             Options for Reducing Use and Creation

2.3.1         Options to Be Implemented

None

2.3.2        Timeline for Implementation

Nil

2.3.3        Estimate of Total Substance Reduction

Since total emission is very low 21.726 kg of fine zinc particulates in the year 2011, no options need to be implemented.
