AEP Mitchell Unit #1 Bypass Stack Duct

VIRTUAL was asked by M&I Air Systems Engineering to provide the design and structural analysis for a Stack Bypass Split Flow Duct, which was over 160 feet long, for American Electric Power. For the duct sections, VIRTUAL designed duct plates, structural members, stiffeners, internal trusses and turning vanes. VIRTUAL delivered fabrication drawings of the duct sections and an analysis of the structure to M&I Air Systems Engineering.
